Who and Why is Sadie Dyson?

I’m a seventeen-year-old art enthusiast and endlessly curious native New Yorker. 

I love art; art that draws me in, utterly confuses me, clarifies complex ideas, and challenges my every belief. The photographer Cindy Sherman said it best: “I’m really just using a mirror to summon something I don’t even know until I see it.” 

Growing up in a metropolis where art is everywhere, it is no wonder that it endlessly fuels me. The element of surprise, the undiscovered potential, the never-ending inspiration — art is the beating heart of a city, of civilization, of humanity. This blog is for the transference of emotion from one human to another. This blog is for art.
